Expertise working with the transportation sector and multiple years of experience in media relations, traditional and digital communications, strategic development, advocacy campaigns, project management, advertising, and internal and external communications.
A look back:
Prior to joining Stratacomm in May 2015, I was a senior account director at Subject Matter where I led a sizable portfolio of accounts managing strategic public relations, advertising, media relations and digital services for a variety of government, nonprofit and association clients. Through my work with a transportation safety coalition, I had the privilege of being in one of the first public groups to preview and take a ride in Google’s self-driving car throughout surface streets of Mountain View, CA in 2013. After college graduation and prior to moving east to begin her career in PR, I worked on Arnold Schwarzenegger’s 2006 gubernatorial campaign in California, traveling the state and mobilizing the younger demographic of voters as college communications coordinator.
My educational background:
Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of California, Santa Barbara. During my senior year, I left sunny California to spend a winter at the University of California’s Washington, D.C. Center and got my first taste of east coast living and the field of public relations in D.C. through a full-time internship.
Who I am at play:
Bicoastal jetsetter, pedestrian commuter, barre and spin class fanatic, lover of good wine, and trying all the latest and greatest restaurants about town.
