Who I am at work:
I came to Stratacomm from the solar industry where I was the digital media and grassroots coordinator on the award-winning communications team at the Solar Energy Industries Association. My first gig with Stratacomm was an onsite deployment at the U.S. Department of Energy’s solar program, SunShot Initiative, on their communication’s team. From there I shifted to Stratacomm’s D.C. office and began working with various clients across multiple industries, playing a key role in strategy and executing award-winning campaigns on the agency’s digital team. I currently work onsite at the Department of Transportation’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration serving as an outreach specialist.
A look back:
I’ve always been obsessed with all things digital. My professional career began as a revelation that I could combine my background in political science with my addiction to all things digital to help empower organizations and businesses to achieve their communications goals. From secretly setting up the first family computer as a child while my father was at away, to becoming the go-to digital guru at work, I’m known among friends and colleagues as “the digital MacGyver.” I’m capable of drawing from a range of different skills and experiences to achieve success.
My educational background:
Received a bachelor’s degree in political science from University of Rochester and a master’s degree in government from American University’s School of Public Affairs.
Who I am at play:
Father, frustrated Bills fan, a capella singer, AV enthusiast, nostalgic athlete.
Words to live and work by:
“We don’t see things the way they are, we see them as we are.”
