Who I am at work:
I am a team player who is hard-working and creative. I am driven by my passion for what I do and my goal for everything I work on is to ensure a positive and effective results.
A look back:
My communications career has always been focused in the automotive industry. When I first began my career, I started my own marketing and advertising consulting business in Portland, Ore. The emphasis of my business was on local aftermarket automotive suppliers.
The next step in my career was working for a press fleet vendor on the West Coast. During this time my role was to oversee the local fleet, work with various OEMs, and to work closely with the local automotive media. After two years, I made the switch to a national press fleet coordinator onsite with Nissan North America. My time in this role was spent overseeing the national fleet for two brands and continuing my work with automotive media, now on a national scale.
My role as national press fleet coordinator allowed me to refine my skills and afford me the opportunity to grow into my current position. I have remained onsite at Nissan North America, but I joined the Stratacomm team as public relations lead for car communications on the product PR team.
My educational background:
I graduated from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Wash. with a bachelor’s in sociology with an emphasis in advertising. Prior to my time at Central Washington University, I attended Carroll College in Helena, Mont. During my time at Carroll College, I studied sociology and communications.
Who I am at play:
During my free time, I enjoying traveling, photography, fly-fishing and exploring new craft breweries.
Words to live and work by:
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain
