Stratacomm Highlights Two Recent Successes

Stratacomm Named Federal Marketing Communications Leader, Partner Group Acquires 100% of Firm

I don’t need to remind anyone how difficult the last 12 months have been. The simultaneous challenges of a global pandemic, economic freefall and civic unrest seemed unprecedented, requiring resilience, persistence and as much good humor as we all could muster. March 2020 will forever be etched in our hearts and minds, and also in the history books, as a turning point.

As we approach the one-year anniversary of working remotely during the pandemic, it is natural to look back and celebrate our collective adaptability and perseverance. Anyone up for another Zoom happy hour?!?!  But, our focus quickly returns to helping clients navigate new challenges on the horizon, and two recent announcements point to bright days ahead for Team Stratacomm.

  • Federal Marketing Communications Leader. Stratacomm is dubbed a “Mover & Shaker” and features prominently on the inaugural list of marketing communications leaders recently unveiled by GrowthLab, an independent consulting firm. After analyzing public data for contracts across all U.S. federal agencies, GrowthLab names Stratacomm the fifth largest provider of marketing and communications services to the federal government and the only small business in the Top 5. Our team considers it a privilege to serve the public good when working on behalf of the government and is honored by this recognition.
  • Fully Independent. As the owner-managers of Stratacomm, my fellow business partners and I are so optimistic about our team’s future that we recently acquired 100% of the company, and FleishmanHillard no longer maintains an ownership stake in Stratacomm. Nothing will change for our clients, teaming partners or employees because of the acquisition since our partnership group already held majority ownership and has controlled the company since 2014. But, Team Stratacomm rightly recognizes this restructuring as a vote of confidence.

On the heels of a tumultuous 12 months, we are energized to continue growing our team, expanding our expertise and adding to our capabilities, while holding true to our bedrock values that brought us to this point. Our successes to date are thanks to the many strong contributors on the Stratacomm team, and the clients who entrust us to help solve their most pressing communications challenges. We are incredibly optimistic about what lies ahead.
