Stratacomm Rising Stars

At Stratacomm, culture matters. The agency’s values center around people, and the mantra to “hire great people, do great work, have fun and business success will follow” makes that clear. As part of Stratacomm’s people-focused approach, celebrating growth is a key ritual. With one promotion and two new interns, we have much to be excited about. We are also pleased to recognize new board positions for our team. Our rising stars are a true testament to Stratacomm’s desire to create an ever-evolving agency culture where talented, creative and diverse people are motivated and empowered to deliver their very best each day.

See below for details on #TeamStratacomm’s recent accomplishments.

  • Amber Garnett advances to senior account executive, the second promotion earned within a little over a year. Amber first joined Stratacomm in 2016 as an intern and returned full-time in 2017. She provides content marketing, social media strategy and management, analytics and measurement, and research for several of the agency’s accounts, including the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), and District Department of Transportation (DDOT). Amber also serves as deputy communication chair for WTS-DC where she manages and develops social media and email communication strategies for the organization.
  • Ashleigh Artist recently took on two new board appointments.First, as the partnerships and branding chair for Prim and Prosper, Inc., a Detroit-based mentoring nonprofit, where she manages sponsor relationships, collaborations with local partners, as well as branding, marketing and public relations strategies for the organization. • And, last but not least, I return to Stratacomm as an intern in our Detroit office for a second term. Since graduating from Michigan State University with a bachelor’s degree in journalism, my time as part of #TeamStratacomm includes working on several Stratacomm anchor accounts, including The Aluminum Association, Norfolk Southern and several Detroit-based automotive brands. I also find time to support Stratacomm’s social media marketing efforts.

On the heels of these virtual high fives, Stratacomm is also looking for interns to join our rising stars roster. Our Detroit office is accepting applications for a full-time, paid internship for spring/summer 2020. A Stratacomm internship provides opportunity to grow personally and professionally by contributing to a dynamic integrated communications team with a diverse client roster. Candidates should have, or should be working toward, an undergraduate or graduate degree in a communications-related field. Apply to join our team today.
