Who I am at work:
Senior vice president and partner specializing in clean energy, heavy-duty modes of transportation and special events. Manage integrated communications programs for federal agencies such as Department of Energy and Department of Transportation, including the award-winning U.S. Department of Energy Solar Decathlon communications program. Special interest and expertise in media relations, public affairs, integrated digital campaigns and event production. Proud team member for nearly 10 years.

A look back:
Spent seven years with the Freeman Companies, North America’s largest general contractor in the meetings and trade show industry. Worked in corporate marketing and industry relations, as well as planned and produced conventions, exhibit programs and complex special events. Spent two years onsite at prominent Washington, D.C. hotel. Learned to drive a forklift.

My educational background:
Davidson College, Davidson, North Carolina (Go Cats!). Big fan of small liberal arts schools.

Who I am at play:
Urban dweller. Out of shape athlete. Mother of two crazy toddlers.
