Who I am at work:
Account director – and wearer of many hats – in our Washington, D.C. office. I manage strategic communications planning and campaigns across government, corporate and association client accounts, including the U.S. Department of Transportation, Norfolk Southern and Nissan North America, among others. Manage Stratacomm’s digital content and marketing in my spare time. WTS-DC Secretary. Recipient of 2016 peer-nominated Team Player Award.
A look back:
From writing for a national teen magazine and local newspaper, to public relations experience in federal contracting, a health nonprofit, and local government managing a portfolio of transportation, public works, energy and environment, and infrastructure projects, I’ve done a little bit of everything. More than 10 years experience in project management, digital engagement, media relations, crisis communications and social media response, community outreach, partnership development, executive visibility and thought leadership, event production, and internal communications.
My educational background:
Studied abroad in Italy and Hawaii. Graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Elon University in Elon, N.C. – go Phoenix! Earned my master’s degree from American University in public affairs and journalism.
Who I am at play:
Active Elon alum. Cooking and baking extraordinaire. Lover of bad reality TV, 90s cover bands, West Highland White Terriers, the beach and Justin Timberlake. Restaurant and cocktail adventurer. Ravens fanatic.
