To help energy communities access critical federal resources, Stratacomm (under subcontract to the U.S. Department of Energy and KBC Energy Solutions) created a “one-stop shop” website for the Interagency Working Group on Coal and Power Plant Communities and Economic Revitalization (Energy Communities IWG). The platform streamlined federal funding and technical assistance opportunities designated for energy communities.
The website drew 17,000+ new users following key tool releases and developed user-friendly resources, including a flagship 10-step Getting Started Guide. Designed with accessibility prioritizing historically underserved communities, the website was shaped by digital focus groups and driven by ongoing analytics.
The result: a trusted, easy-to-navigate website that empowered communities in transition to access critical federal resources.
