Stratacomm Celebrates 25 Years of Communications Excellence

On this, our 25th year in business, Stratacomm’s partners offer thanks to our founders, on whose broad shoulders we stand. We also offer deep thanks to all our employees and alumni: you are what sets Stratacomm apart. We appreciate the many teaming partners we’ve worked with over the years, too. Most of all, thank you to our clients – then and now. You entrust us with your time, your money and your reputations to help solve some of your most pressing communications challenges. We value our relationships with you and are honored to serve as your trusted advisors. We look forward to doing even bigger things together over the next 25 years – and beyond.

Here’s our story and the journey that led us to today.

In March 1995, four friends came together to form a different kind of communications agency. They were fueled by a simple premise: Do great work, have fun, and business success will follow. Now celebrating our silver anniversary, it’s proven to be the winning formula for the people who make up Stratacomm and for the clients we serve.

1995

National Journal reports, “A team of Washington hands with a grab bag of experiences in such fields as chemicals, motor vehicles, ceramics, energy and the environment has created a policy and communications consulting firm with the plugged-in sounding name of Strat@comm.”

Washington Business Journal headlines, “Fast-lane Strat@comm…” and notes, “The principals of the strategic communications firm have taken a two-pronged approach to building their practice, targeting a market segment they know well and structuring their shop to run with minimal overhead and maximum flexibility.”
