Kara is a communications professional with more than a decade of experience in strategic planning, digital and creative strategy, and public/stakeholder outreach in the transportation and public affairs sectors. Her expertise includes program management, marketing strategy, creative development and campaign measurement. She earned creative awards for her work, was named an Emerging Leader finalist by Washington Women in Public Relations, and Alumni of the Year by James Madison University’s School of Communication Studies. Kara earned a bachelor’s degree in communications studies from James Madison University.
