Maris has nearly five years of public relations experience in energy and government. She leads strategic communications and media outreach, develops key messages, drives storytelling efforts and coordinates stakeholder engagement for public and private sector clients. Maris brings her interest in energy efficiency, sustainability and community development to every project. She is passionate about using creativity to develop relatable and persuasive narratives that secure media coverage. Maris received a Master of Arts in Mass Communication with a concentration in political communication from the University of Florida and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Strategic Communications from American University. She is an active member of Washington Women in Public Relations.
