#TeamStratacomm is pleased to welcome new associate director of studio services, Adrian Saunders, to the firm. Adrian is based in the Washington, D.C. office and is a key team player in Stratacomm’s growing creative team.

Who he is at work:

Adrian joins Stratacomm’s creative team and will be specializing in graphic design, digital content and website development. Adrian’s expertise in creative design and his thirst to develop solutions through innovative technologies will further enrich the client experience at Stratacomm.

A look back:

Adrian offers over a decade of experience working in the transportation, infrastructure, community engagement, development, local government, architectural and sustainability spaces. He previously worked for the DowntownDC Business Improvement District (BID) leading the rebranding of the organization through an updated identity, new website, Salesforce integration and so much more (as the BID would say). Prior to the BID, Adrian enjoyed his work in the private sector as an architectural designer for Blackburn Architects, followed by working for the District Department of Transportation (DDOT), overseeing brand and website development for the agency, as well as the ever-popular Capital Bikeshare and DC Circulator brands.

“I’ve enjoyed the last several years at DDOT and the BID, developing and using my talents to brand, innovate and create impactful designs at a local level. Now I’m excited to return to the private sector and utilize my skills to help a variety of clients exceed their creative aspirations on a larger scale at Stratacomm.”

One of the most out-of-the-box things Adrian has done in his career:

“I’ve appeared as a model on the back of the DC Circulator bus as well as in Capital Bikeshare ads and marketing.”

Education background:

Adrian earned a bachelor’s of science in architecture at The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. and continues working towards his master’s degree in digital design.

Who he is in play:

Out of the office Adrian enjoys spending time with his wife, Jennie, and his two beautiful daughters, Lily and Kayla. Additionally, Adrian is a self-proclaimed #blerd that loves all-things technology, from 3D printing and coding to virtual reality and z-wave devices.
