The Aluminum Association’s Aluminum Transportation Group (ATG) communicates the benefits of automotive aluminum to help accelerate its market penetration into lightweight passenger and commercial vehicles through research programs and related outreach activities. Its mission is to serve its member companies and act as a central resource for the automotive industry on aluminum issues. Most recently, Stratacomm’s focused its efforts on a surround-sound approach to raise the ATG’s visibility inside the Beltway. Working collaboratively with Association staff and member companies, Stratacomm implemented a communications strategy inclusive of strategic roll out of key research, visibility for ATG leadership at key industry events, targeted media relations, print ads and a redesigned website (DriveAluminum.org). Stratacomm’s work also supported a high-profile DC event, targeted social media graphics and the execution of a series of educational video and digital ads.
