New Year, New Faces!

New Year, New Faces!

#TeamStratacomm rounded out 2017 with bolstered account teams and shared enthusiasm for the coming year. With the expansion of existing client work and new additions to our client rosters, we added three new team members. We are excited to welcome our talented new coworkers, Kristin, Marcella and Amber, to our team.

Below is a quick introduction to the newest members of #TeamStratacomm.

Kristin GregoryKristin joined #TeamStratacomm as an account supervisor in our DC office, joining our account teams supporting Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, National Association of Clean Water Agencies and the District Department of Transportation (DDOT). Kristin hails from Hull, Massachusetts and studied marketing at Nichols College.

Before joining Stratacomm, Kristin spent nearly six years working in marketing and communications within the mobility sector. She served as director of marketing and communications for DDOT’s goDCgo program, an initiative designed to help reduce congestion and improve air quality through the promotion of transportation options like Capital Bikeshare and the DC Circulator. More recently, Kristin spent time at a small sports and entertainment marketing firm where she handled publicity for athletes and planned large scale events including the recent Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor fight.

We love our interns!

Our newest associate staff team members are products of our intern program. As interns, they became familiar with Stratacomm’s culture and commitment to client service first-hand. These stand-out young professionals join a long list of tenured staff who started their careers as Stratacomm interns.

Marcella DudekMarcella joined the Detroit team as an assistant account executive after showing a fierce work ethic, great instincts and proactivity as a Stratacomm intern. Marcella joins our account teams supporting the Aluminum Association, MTU America and Webasto. Marcella studied public relations at Wayne State University and grew up in Clinton Township, Michigan.

During her time as an intern, Marcella grew to love Stratacomm’s company culture, client work and her colleagues.  She says she knew the firm was the right fit the moment she left her initial intern interview and is ecstatic to have the opportunity to join the team full-time.

Amber GarnettAmber joins the Stratacomm team as an assistant account executive after interning in our DC office. Amber joins our account teams supporting the National Energy Technology Lab, Norfolk Southern, American Geophysical Union and the Parks at Walter Reed. Amber is originally from Conyers, Georgia, and studied public relations at the University of Georgia. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public relations at George Washington University.

During her time as an intern, Amber enjoyed learning about client service, communications and how a public relations firm functions. She said Stratacomm’s company culture, her co-workers’ personalities and her varying day-to-day responsibilities appealed to her and she was thrilled when she was offered to join the team full time.

Welcome aboard, Kristin, Marcella and Amber!
