Digital Engagement to Help Feed the World
In 2018, The World Food Program USA was confronting a challenge—it needed to evolve its digital presence to align with an updated brand platform and support its fundraising mission in the U.S. With foundational messaging and brand work completed, it needed a digital partner to help evolve the website and manage technical operations so its team could stay focused on content production and other priorities.
WFP USA turned to a team led by Stratacomm to take over technical maintenance and lead the redesign of their site (www.wfpusa.org). Coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders, our team managed the redesign process, expressing the new brand in a digital context and building a library of custom components to support varied website content and on-site experiences. This custom WordPress build was deployed and optimized by our development team, ensuring a speedy and smooth web experience for users.
Since the launch of the new site design, our team has developed and deployed a number of enhancements and extensions, including custom landing pages designed to support fundraising efforts. In addition, our team provided ongoing consultation and implementation support for analytics and measurement program enhancements to evaluate paid media and improve user engagement to increase donations.
Since the redesign took place, WFP USA has enjoyed record-breaking fundraising years, delivering millions of dollars to the cause of ending hunger worldwide.
