On-Air with Stratacomm’s Bill Buff

What do you remember most about your childhood between the ages of 8 and 14? In December, Bill Buff, co-managing partner at Stratacomm, was invited as a guest on the mid-Atlantic business radio show turned podcast – Executive Leaders Radio – and asked to reflect in 10 minutes on this exact part of his life. While it might be a seemingly negligible period growing up, Executive Leaders Radio uncovered that it has a deep and profound impact on the way people lead, manage teams and go on to run their own companies.

We got to know a little more about Bill, myself included (who has a quick cameo on the show!). The experience helped him reflect and learn more about himself as a business owner and leader. Looking back, it’s easy to see how Bill’s important life moments have shaped him as the colleague, mentor and leader he is today. Take a listen to the segment below to learn more about Bill, and in turn, a little bit more about the company he helps run – you might be surprised at how it all fits together!

#TeamStratacomm is lucky to work with and know Bill, and we’re happy that this broadcast helps our Stratacomm family and clients get to know him as well.

Update! Bill got invited back to co-host the radio show in February and Nicole Golvala, senior account executive, accompanied him to record a two-minute business spotlight. Listen to learn more about #TeamStratacomm:

Bill Buff is one of the firm’s co-managing partners and leader of Stratacomm’s energy and environment practice group. The favorite part of Bill’s week is taking his toddler to Harambee music class on Saturday mornings where they both practice passing the peace, not the frustration.

Nicole Golvala is a senior account executive in Stratacomm’s Washington, D.C. office. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys listening to “Keep It” and dabbles with recording her own podcast on binge-worthy TV shows with her sister in New York City.
