Happy New Year! Stratacomm is already gearing up for what is sure to be an interesting and exciting 2017. Before saying goodbye to 2016, we celebrated the holidays and successes of the past year with colleagues. A true highlight of that celebration is recognizing our annual Team Player of the Year award winners.

This peer-driven award recognizes the one person in each office who best represents Stratacomm’s core values of client service, teamwork, entrepreneurship, innovation, learning, ethics and fun. Each office presents the winners with a keepsake – an oar. The oar symbolizes that together, we move forward toward a common goal that can’t be reached individually.

Stratacomm’s 2016 Team Players

Jennifer Heilman, account director, is our Washington, D.C. office winner. Since joining the team in January 2015, Jenn keeps the trains running ahead of schedule as an account lead for some of our most active client accounts. She consistently volunteers to support projects outside her core workload – and does so with a smile and a sense of humor. Her cross-office project support helped expand Stratacomm’s level of service, and clients can count on Jenn to deliver top-notch work on deadline.

Ashleigh Artist, account executive, is our Detroit office winner. Since starting as an intern Ashleigh has continuously demonstrated what it means to be an all-around team player. Colleagues trust Ashleigh to deliver well thought-out research, creative written materials and successful media relations efforts. She also delivers in social media both for her clients and the firm. On top of all of this, Ashleigh is fun to be around, and pitches in on work with a smile.

But wait, we celebrated even more:

Stratacomm also recently announced the promotion of Nicole Golvala to account executive in its D.C. office.

As an account executive, Nicole supports her primary accounts, U.S. DOT’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the American Geophysical Union, with media relations, digital writing, third-party outreach and event support. Nicole joined Stratacomm in 2015 as an assistant account executive after earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in public communication from American University.

Jennifer, Ashleigh and Nicole provide unique contributions to the firm, but all showcase at our best. We congratulate them on their well-deserved recognition.
