Stratacomm Wins Six Awards for Integrated Campaigns & Creative

Stratacomm is proud of award-winning achievements we’ve accomplished in 2019, both for our own creative marketing efforts as well as with clients including the U.S. DOT’s Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) and National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Hermes Creative Awards

Platinum Award

Stratacomm, alongside teaming partner the Yes& Agency, earns the highest honor for its development and execution of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA), Our Roads, Our Safety campaign.

Our Roads, Our Safety, FMCSA’s signature safety-focused campaign, educates consumers in an effort to reduce crashes, injuries and fatalities involving large trucks and buses. Stratacomm aided FMCSA in launching the Our Roads campaign in 2016 and continues to provide a range of support including overall strategic program management, content strategy, partnership outreach and advertising.

Gold Award

The Yes&-Stratacomm collaborative team also earns a Gold Award for FMCSA’s Protect Your Move campaign.

In addition to creative design, Stratacomm provides earned media, digital strategy, third-party outreach and advertising support for FMCSA’s consumer awareness campaign, Protect Your Move, which aims to counter interstate moving fraud.

Stratacomm’s support of FMCSA began in 2014 and includes development and execution of robust integrated communications campaigns for diverse audiences.

Gold Award

The agency’s own marketing efforts are recognized with a Gold Award for creativity for its 2018 printed holiday card. Featuring every employee’s Bitmoji, Stratacomm’s 2018 holiday card captures three key agency core values—client service, teamwork and fun. Stratacomm team members work hard on behalf of clients but also play hard, and the agency’s success is strongly tied to long-standing client relationships built on trust, chemistry and shared visions of success. The card, which showcases employees from Washington, D.C., Detroit, Nashville, Tenn., and Tallahassee, Fla., demonstrates seamless interconnectedness of staff from across the agency, as well as the full power of the resources offered to clients.

Communicator Awards of Distinction

Stratacomm, with its partners GMMB and Heart+Mind Strategies, brings home three Awards of Distinction for its support of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA) vehicle safety programs. Two awards recognize NHTSA’s Safe Cars Save Lives campaign in the categories of Business-to-Consumer for Integrated Campaign and Display Advertising Business-to-Consumer for Online Advertising and Marketing.

A third award honors a five-part Web Series for Online Video featuring Tested.com’s Adam Savage as he takes consumers behind the wheel to explain how driver assistance technologies work.

The Stratacomm-led team helps NHTSA motivate consumers to be active participants in vehicle safety by developing and executing integrated communication and marketing campaigns for its signature programs—the Office of Defect Investigations, the New Car Assessment Program’s 5-Star Safety Ratings and other advanced vehicle safety initiatives such as automated vehicles. Stratacomm’s support includes strategic planning, consumer market research, third-party outreach, creative and content development, digital strategy, advertising, and event management. In the midst of the largest vehicle recall in U.S. history, the team helped NHTSA launch the award-winning Safe Cars Save Lives campaign which urges consumers to check for open recalls and get recalled vehicles fixed.
